Well, I have two new internet honorifics.
The Opie & Anthony show notes from Friday, August 1st links to my blog entry reprinting Penn Jillette's story about his adventures in zero gravity. Apparently Penn was a guest on the show for that morning and he told the famous vomit comet story. (Nobody tells it better than the man, himself. It's his story, after all.)
Even more hilarious is that the show notes used two pics from my blog entry. Including a silly one that I mocked up (with my limited photo editing skills) of a bobble-headed Penn Jillette and a bobble-headed Billy Gibbons floating in zero G.

I think it's hilarious that some show tech for the Opie & Anthony show Google-seached Penn's story, found his way to my blog and said, "Hm, that's a pretty funny picture. I can actually USE that in my show notes" and swiped it for easy linking. That makes my day.
I would like to give a genuine and heartfelt "Salute" to the O&A crew for all five of the readers that they've linked to me from the show notes. Saaaaaaaaaaaa-lute!
Slightly less exciting than that major media coverage is the fact that my blog shows up as the sixth hit on a Google search of the often-asked question - "how much does a maggot exterminator cost in boston". The word blog entry that comes up is actually a recap of the "Sickest F***ing Stories" show where "Exterminator Juan" made an appearance. I dunno the link to boston, but he certainly did talk about maggots.
